4Amour is an up-and-coming local streetwear brand and is currently a recurring client of JordanKayMedia. 4Amour loves hearts, the number 4, and overlapping letters. The brand is centered around the need for love and passion to be the driving force behind propelling you forward.
4Amour: Collection 2
4Amour owner, Jordan Carter, sent over a rough sketch of the desired design (pictured above in center). I spent time building the design in Adobe Photoshop and experimenting with different effects to resemble the first collections logo. (pictured above on left and right).
I noticed the initial designs lacked the unique and fresh look that I understood the brand to be striving for, after discussion with Jordan. I began experimenting with elements that I thought could enhance the design and express the love that this brand is built on. Above are the designs I came up with in the order of my thought process, from left to right.
Jordan loved this design, in particular, and went with it (pictured above). Color variations of the design are featured on the 4Amour Clothing Instagram page. I believe the overlapping letters of various directions represent the way love connects different people in different places and on more than one level.
